Shasenem Garlyyeva, a craftswoman and baker hailing from Turkmenistan, has raised the bar for entrepreneurs worldwide with her pay-it-forward mentality. Alongside her daughter Jennet, and with the support of other organizations, Shasenem has been able to expand her company of camel wood textiles and accessories, such as hats, bags, and jewelry, into a multifaceted affair. 

Her approach to entrepreneurship has resulted in business relations with Germany and Italy, and sponsorships from the Smithsonian Museums, where Shasenem has placed her intricate designs of camel wool on display. Boasting health benefits such as increased blood circulation and environmental virtues including biodegradability, the fabric has invited many to see the beautiful culture of Central Asia.
