A native of the Chai Nat province in Thailand, Jaruayporn Kerdsem is a proud artisan and values her extensive folk wisdom. In an eager attempt to preserve the culture of her village, she hopes to pass her knowledge to generations to come. With the aid provided by partnerships, she intends to play a major role in her society to create sustainable livelihoods in every small household in her village. 

Jaruayporn uses nature resources in her village such as the water hyacinth and transforms them into  valuable items such as bags, baskets, and home decorations.
